New Book About Huletts
01/10/12 – For those who enjoy some Huletts Landing history, local author and blogger George Kapusinski announced this week that he will release his second book about Huletts Landing. The book is titled “The Hulett Hotel Fire on Lake George” and will focus on the fire that destroyed the original Huletts Hotel in 1915 and resulting arson trial. The author promises never before seen photographs of Huletts Landing. “The Hulett Hotel Fire on Lake George” follows George’s 2008 release of “Huletts Landing on Lake George (Images of America)“, which is worth checking out if you haven’t already.

Northern Lake George: Clearest Water in New York State
12/19/11 – Northern Lake George received the best reading on a measurement for clarity among 98 New York lakes in 2011 according to a recently released survey. A reading taken off Huletts Landing measured nearly 37 feet of clarity. The Huletts reading was second only to our neighbors in Gull Bay and just a few inches at that. Read More:

New Lake Champlain Bridge Opens
11/07/11 – Crown Point, NY – Getting to Huletts Landing from Northern Vermont will get a lot easier today. The new $70 million bridge that spans Lake Champlain from Crown Point, NY to Addison, VT will open this afternoon, after a 2:30pm ceremony. Read More:
